Feast Day of St. Winwaloc, March 3
A 6th century abbot, also known as Wonnow, Wynwallow, Gwenno, Winwabe, and Winwaloe. He was educated by St. Budoc and had a sister named Creirwe and brothers named Wethonoc and Jacut.
The photo is of St. Winwaloe Church in Gunwalloe.
Bonus St. Patrick tie-in (according to Catholic Online):
"As a young man, it is said that Winwaloe conceived a wish to visit Ireland to see the remains of Saint Patrick, who had just died. However, the saint appeared to him in a dream to say that it would be better to remain in Brittany and found an abbey."
Although not really within my power, I hereby name St. Whatever-His-Name-Is the Patron Saint of Scrabble.
