Feast Day of St. Vincent Ferrer
St. Vincent Ferrer is the patron saint of builders, but not for the reason you think. He was born in Spain (1357) and was the son of St. Dominic. He eventually evangalized thought Spain, Germany, England, France, Italy, Flanders, Scotland and Ireland. He even was welcome in Grenada (the part of Spain conquered by the Muslims).
By converting so many to the Catholicism, he "built" the Church. Get it?
The photo is the interior of St. Vincent Ferrer Church located in Manhattan, NY.
